  • 1 min read

We're excited to announce that our second public engagement meeting will be taking place on Monday 10th June!

Please join us if you are a person of colour involved in education (teacher, lecturer, student, parent, youth worker, researcher, etc.). Children of colour accompanied by a parent or guardian are most welcome.

White people - watch out for this space as you will be welcome at future events.

At the meeting, you will have a chance to network, engage in some critical discussions about race and take part in some creative workshops that will generate content for The Anti-Racist Educator platform. Workshops will include creative writing and conversation booths. The meeting will provide a safe space for learning and reflection. It will also help you develop the confidence to use your voice for positive change.

The meeting will start at 5pm at the University of Strathclyde Students' Union

The Lounge, Level 5

90 John Street, Glasgow G1 1JH

The venue is wheelchair accessible and close to many public transport links (Glasgow Queen Street Station, Buchanan Bus Station, Glasgow Central Station and Buchanan Street Subway Station).

Please confirm your attendance by emailing us at theantiracisteducator@gmail.com

We hope to see you there!

Thanks for sharing such a useful and diverse list. It’s great to see recommendations framed with context and purpose. I https://www.pantherplumbing.com/drain-sewer/drain-cleaning/ came across a similar curated-media discussion on a pantherplumbing-based review blog, and it highlighted how valuable thoughtful lists can be.

Great recommendations here it’s always helpful to have curated lists that are intentional and educational. The explanations made each choice feel purposeful. I recently came across a similar media-analysis post on a https://griffindeck.com/services/deck-lighting which complemented this well.
