  • May 28, 2019
  • 1 min read

We're excited to announce that our second public engagement meeting will be taking place on Monday 10th June!

Please join us if you are a person of colour involved in education (teacher, lecturer, student, parent, youth worker, researcher, etc.). Children of colour accompanied by a parent or guardian are most welcome.

White people - watch out for this space as you will be welcome at future events.

At the meeting, you will have a chance to network, engage in some critical discussions about race and take part in some creative workshops that will generate content for The Anti-Racist Educator platform. Workshops will include creative writing and conversation booths. The meeting will provide a safe space for learning and reflection. It will also help you develop the confidence to use your voice for positive change.

The meeting will start at 5pm at the University of Strathclyde Students' Union

The Lounge, Level 5

90 John Street, Glasgow G1 1JH

The venue is wheelchair accessible and close to many public transport links (Glasgow Queen Street Station, Buchanan Bus Station, Glasgow Central Station and Buchanan Street Subway Station).

Please confirm your attendance by emailing us at theantiracisteducator@gmail.com

We hope to see you there!

This is an important initiative — creating space for community conversation and public engagement is key to understanding and addressing issues of equity and anti-racism. Thank you for organizing this!

Ragdoll Archers is an amusing physics challenge centered on trajectory and timing. The fun comes from mastering the loose, unpredictable movements of the archer.

When I started using Shikshade I noticed how much easier exam prep becomes when everything is organized in one place. Browsing through notes, opening PDFs, and checking updated exam details helped me catch things I would have missed on my own. Simple features like clear syllabus pages or quick access to previous papers save a lot of time and make studying feel less scattered.

The staff at MasterStorage365 truly understands customer service. They guided me to the perfect unit size for my needs and explained everything clearly. https://www.masterstorage365.com/ drive-up units are super convenient, and I appreciate the climate-controlled options. It’s more than storage—it’s a community with thoughtful amenities like mailbox rentals, a retail center, and a welcoming team.
